Today I want to mention my  Hashimoto Thyroiditis story.Thyroid :Our dear BUTTERFLY shape organ!

As you know, I am Hashimoto Thyroiditis sufferer. I sometimes receive heart palpitations, premature beats..especially during fluctuations of thyroid hormon levels. When I experienced my first premature beats in  2007 , I felt too much worried about my heart, and visited several cardiologists. They told me there was no problem with heart , then they ordered Thyroid test (only TSH values) which returned good results at that time. But they didnt order Free  T4 , T3 and antibodies...

Anyway, cardiologist prescribed a  ryhtm regulator medicine which didnt treat premature beats. Then I visited another cardiologist, he gave me nothing;  as these , premature beats were not problem.I remember how I worried .. after turning

How I beat Cat Phobia

A very hot summer day.. My anxiety reached up to its highest level while we were driving in intercity road. Then we stopped and turned back .Then  we went to a restaurant and ate Turkish Pizza. After  meal, I walked through home with my son  and came across a cat at the entrance of our block. You know cats act suddenly. And that cat started to jump in front of me then moved to backward then run to the left to the right , (I think he treated me as if I was a pointer) Surely my hear rate started increase while the cat was doing those sudden, absurd actions.

Then I said “Oo thanks it seems he went”   Awww what is it !  No sooner did I try to open the door, the cat appeared behind me suddenly!!!

A reall horror film! Thanks to kitten ; I found myself in the hospital due to tachycardia and panic attack!

Several days after, my son ( he was 3 years old ) was trying to give his bread to the cat.

While I was warning him and begging him as such  “ Come on son ! he may scratch , come on , leave the cat!,” , the cat was purring and rubbing to my son , showing his happiness with meow meow melodies. The cat was so hungry that he was eating bread. 

Compassion feelings at cat, happiness of my son , took me to the petshop and I bought cat food and fed him.This was the end of my cat phobia

Tachycardia - Panic Attack

It took my 2-3 years to proove that my type of Tachycardia is not the Tachycardia happens during panic attack.

Do you know there is a list of Tachycardia types. ?

When I stroke by SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), I was used to go to hospital and when I arrived to hospital, it was suddenly ceasing, and doctors was used to tell “ you are panick attack person ; that is  normal !! “

Years ahead , I really add edmuch more fear  to my fear list , I was afraid of Panic Attack and  , tachycardia ...

One day , my final SVT stroke ! Heart rate rose upto 240! On top of Panic Attack Uppermost Level with my heart’s resistance level. I was again in the emergency room and cried to doctor : “Dont tell me this is panic attack and psychological, I am dying!!! .

Finally , a “Heart Rhytm Specialist” put the last word and diagnosed :

“You have an extra electrical pathway where the blood bypass and cause arryhtmia”

That was great since I managed to succeed to differentiate SVT Attack-Panic Attack.

My SVT problem is solved by EPS Ablation. I will give you details about this treatment later
